ABOUT THE PAINTING
I am the Founder of An Aid to Help Foundation and commissioned Vincent Paolucci, a well known artist to create a special painting for me. The inspiration to depict a baby turtle came from viewing a photograph of a person holding one. It touched me deeply.
This painting reflects a lot of meaning for me and it suited the mission of An Aid to Help Foundation perfectly. When life gets challenging the turtle tucks its head into its shell. Perhaps it reflects on what to do next. Taking time out before deciding what to do is part of the Foundation's aim. We all cannot tuck our heads inside like a turtle but we can learn to build up our coping skills to become stronger inside so that we are better prepared. I see the hand holding the turtle as part of your own power, not someone elses. "Finding Inner Strength" is what I call this painting.
I left the cover of the cardboard music CD case with no title so that you can frame your copy of the original painting for your wall or you can leave it standing upright somewhere and enjoy. This music CD case is very unique and I hope that you like the story around it.
